Since the inception in the year 1990, ABACUS MC has been a total solution provider in the field of industrial automation in Chennai, South India.

Initially, we developed and marketed DC servo amplifiers for a cross section of servo applications. In the next stage, the integration of servos with the development of microprocessor based control i.e., PLCs and Axis Controllers and HMIs took place (in 1994), in order to meet the total system requirement.

Thanks to our strong R&D base, today, we have manufacturing program with a product mix of mini PLCs, Micro PLCs, Multi Axis Controllers, PWM Servo Amplifiers, Stepper drives, 24V DC motor control cards, Data Loggers and custom control card options. All our products are positioned under the brand name - ABACUS MC.

Our manufacturing unit `ARCEE Automations' is located in SIDCO Electronic Complex, Guindy, Chennai. The unit is equipped with state of the art PCB design workstation, assembly procedures, inspection facilities and application engineering unit.

We have in-house R&D unit to cater for product developments and consult on critical control solutions. As our manufacturing program is concentrated on motion control products & specific applications, we have tied up with VIPA GmbH, Germany as an open system house for their complete range of PLCs and ESA Elettronica S.p.A, Italy for HMIs in January 2002 - as distributors and system integrators. Robotics:

We are the Global Channel Partner for ABB Ltd, for their Robotics Division. Our Demonstration Test facility is equipped with IRB 1410 with IRC 5 controller, Robot Studio, Advanced Functions software; Virtual Arc for welding applications, along with Conveyor Tracking facility to cater for a range of robot application. The center also conducts training for Proficiency Certification Programs in robotics.

Our projects division has a highly experienced application engineering and system integration outfit and has a track record of configuring system solutions for various projects.

As a system configurator, we have highly skilled engineers to configure control systems for process and production Industries. Due to constant updating of technological advancements, we offer unique and optimal solutions for industries' complex needs.

As system integrator, we have adequate capacity to design and build PLC / HMI panels, program and commission systems. We offer quality documentation, which is an essential feature for post commissioning operations.
